Jang Seo-yoon

Jang Seo-yoon earned a master’s degree in musicology at Seoul National University and is pursuing a doctorate. She won the gold prize in the pansori category at the 27th Dong-A Korean Music Competition, and the prize for young women artists offered by a Korean newspaper ‘Women News’ in 2023. With pansori and the cheolhyeongeum – a traditional Korean string instrument - she is active in a variety of fields, including traditional Korean music and creative music collaboration with Korean and international artists.
