Canadian-Serbian Violinist Eva Lesage is studying at the Montreal Conservatory of Music in the studio of Alexander Read and Helmut Lipsky. Invited three times by the OSM, notably in recital as part of the Virée Classique, the young violinist has won numerous first prizes, among others at the Euro Elite International Music Competition, the Canadian Music Competition and the Pierre- De-Saurel music competition. These distinctions allowed her to play as a soloist with numerous orchestras in North America, the Cathedral Bluffs Symphony Orchestra and with the Orchestre Métropolitain during a six concerts tour that received the 2019 Opus Prize for Production of the Year - Young Audiences. She will also perform with the I Musici orchestra of Belgium and Montreal, as well as with the Orchestre Symphonique du Conservatoire de musique de Montréal during the 2022-23 season. Eva holds the position of Concertmaster at the OSCMM and is a founding member of the Quatuor Vatra, having won First Prizes at the Canadian Music Competition, Classival Music Competition and at Sherbrooke Music Competition.
