Emma Reader-Lee

Born and raised in Victoria, BC, Emma Reader-Lee has a particular passion for orchestral playing. She was a member of the National Academy Orchestra of Canada in 2022 and 2023 and will return again this summer. She also held the position of concertmaster mentee in the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra’s Student Mentorship Program in 2019. Emma holds a Masters’ degree from the University of Toronto and a Bachelors’ degree from the University of Ottawa, both in violin performance. In addition to being on the orchestral audition circuit, she currently works as a strings teacher for the Sooke Harmony Project.
