Emily Rose Michaud is an interdisciplinary artist and educator working at the crossroads of community organization, ecology and civic participation. Her body of work encompasses land-based art, installation, drawing, writing, performance and intervention. Emily has been leading art workshops independently since 2004, and offers workshops in and out of institutional settings. A certified teacher with the Ontario College of Teachers, in 2019 she became a member of the Multicultural Arts for School & Communities (MASC) and of the English Language Arts Network (ELAN)’s Artists Inspire program. Emily has worked with youngsters, teenagers, adults and seniors in all media, for leisure, education and portfolio development. She is fluent in English and French and works in a variety of settings on both sides of the river throughout the National Capital Region.
