Causa. Throughout her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto and McGill University she studied with André Roy and Teng Li. In the past Emily won the McGill Classical Concerto Competition and performed the Mozart Sinfonia Concertante with the McGill Symphony Orchestra alongside violinist Aaron Chan. She has also been a finalist in the University of Toronto concerto competition, a semi-finalist in The Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition and winner of the Aikins Memorial trophy at the Winnipeg Music Festival. She has been principal viola of National Youth Orchestra of Canada, Yale Philharmonia, University of Toronto Symphony and McGill Symphony Orchestra. As a chamber musician Emily has participated in the Kneisel Hall Summer Music Program, the McGill International String Quartet Academy and ENCORE String Quartet Intensive programs.
