A native of Southern California, Elizabeth Oka currently performs with the New World Symphony in Miami Beach, FL. She has played with the Des Moines Metro Opera, Charleston Symphony, Atlantic Symphony Orchestra, Discovery Ensemble, Evansville Philharmonic, and the Boston Philharmonic.
Ms. Oka holds degrees from Tufts University and the New England Conservatory. Most recently, she completed two years at Indiana University where she served as the Associate Instructor of Viola. She has participated in many summer festivals, including Artosphere, Tanglewood, and Aspen. Her teachers include Ed Gazouleas, Martha Katz, and Lenny Matczynski.
