Elie Marchand

Elie Marchand is a playwright, director and cultural mediator. He is the author and director of Les règles du jeu, Racines and Cœur de neige en juillet, and the author of Soeurs Sirènes, as well as the show Récit d’une chaussure (co-directed with Marie-Eve Lefebvre). Elie frequently collaborates with foreign artists, and is currently working on a new piece, Fil d’or et Pot cassé, with Swedish-Japanese choreographer Kyrie Oda. Elie’s work often depicts underrepresented characters and aims to bring hope to children who feel different from others.
