Daniel Cournoyer

A theatre and arts management graduate, Daniel Cournoyer has been general manager of Edmonton’s La Cité francophone since 2012. Previously, he was artistic director and general manager of L’UniThéâtre (1996–2012). Committed to the protection and development of the Franco-Albertan cultural community, Daniel has chaired several cultural organizations, including the Association des théâtres francophones du Canada and the Regroupement artistique francophone de l’Alberta. He is also a founding member of the Association des compagnies de théâtre de l’Ouest and the Fondation pour l’avancement du théâtre francophone du Canada.
