Daejun Kang

Daejun Kang started playing the double bass when he was 15 years old. One year later, he became a member of the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra where he stayed for three years. He then decided to become a professional double bass player. He has attended great music festivals where he studied with fantastic double bass teachers, such as Joel Quarrington at the Orford Music Festival, and Harold Robbins at the Wabass Music Festival. Daejun completed his undergraduate degree at the Korean National University of Arts and is currently working on his masters degree at the Univierity of Ottawa with Joel Quarrington.
