Dancer and choreographer Christophe Garcia is a master at performing grand jetés between continents, mainly Europe and North America, where audiences are amazed and moved by his unique dance works. With his Marseille-based company La [parenthèse], founded in 2000, he has notably created Lettre pour Éléna (2015), his first work for young audiences, for Le Petit Théâtre de Sherbrooke. A graduate of the École-Atelier Rudra-Béjart dance school in Switzerland, this versatile artist has also collaborated with such ultra-contemporary directors and choreographers as Robert Wilson, Robert Lepage and Hélène Blackburn, as well as repertory companies including Scapino Ballet Rotterdam and Le Jeune Ballet du Quebec.
