Carol Devenny, FCPA, FCA,  CBV, CPA (Illinois), ICD.D

Carol Devenny is currently the CFO of Equality Fund which is a not for profit and registered charity focused on gender led investments supporting women’s rights and equality for women.  

She is also a Senior Advisor for Strategy Corp. In July 2020 Carol retired from a 38-year career with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where she was a partner since 1995 including PwC Ottawa’s Office Managing Partner from July 2012 to August 2018.   

Always passionate about giving back to her community, Carol is the current Chair of the Board of the Ottawa Community Foundation. She previously served on boards of Ashbury College, Alzheimer’s Society of Ottawa-Carleton, the International Women’s Forum (IWF) – Canada Board, Ottawa Centre for Research and Innovation and the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) Foundation.  

She was named a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA, now FCPA) in 2009. In 2014, the Women’s Executive Network (WXN) named Carol one of Canada’s 100 Most Powerful Women.  

Carol joined the National Arts Centre Foundation Board of Directors in 2020.
