Carmen Rose Nicholson

Carmen Rose Nicholson concentrates in Théâtre in the Centre Excellence Artistic De L’Ontario program at De La Salle Public High School. Carmen has participated in youth choral and theatrical organization in the National Capital Region since 2014 and has frequently appeared as a soloist with the Ottawa Regional Youth Choir (ORYC) conducted by Jamie Loback. Carmen has received first-place honours in vocal performance in various musical festivals and competitions in the NCR and has placed at the Provincial level in the Ontario Music Festival Competition in Classical Voice and Musical Theatre. Carmen studies vocal performance with Cara Gilbertson and has studied classical piano, music theory, and dance. Currently, Carmen volunteers as a Mentor for the Concert Choir of the OCC.
