Benoit Roy

Benoit Roy is a Francophone manager from Eastern Ontario and a graduate of the Algonquin College and University of Ottawa theatre programs. He is currently general manager of Théâtre Action, where he supports the development of Franco-Ontarian theatre. Previously, he was administrative director of the Théâtre du Trillium (2008–18) and director of partnerships and events at La Nouvelle Scène Gilles Desjardins (2018–22). Benoit is also the former artistic director of the Théâtre Tremplin community theatre company in Vanier (Ottawa), and co-wrote D’un régisseur à un autre – Les fondements du métier de régisseur, published in 2015.
