Anne is an emerging theatre artist established in Ottawa. They recently graduated from the University of Ottawa’s acting Conservatory (2022) and have been working in both French and English since. Acting credits include roles in Levity theatre’s La·Bel (2023), Valery Drapeau’s Survivaces (2023), the living installation La petite maison (Noémie Avidar) presented at the Zones théâtrales festival at the NAC in 2021, and Ceux qui se sont évaporés (Gaétan Paré, 2022). Their staging of the show À demain won the Jury’s choice award at the 2023 Ottawa youth infringement festival. Anne’s work also extends to installation and sensory based theatre, with their work Eau as in au revoir, which premiered at the Fresh Meat festival in October 2023. Anne is currently the Artistic Director of the Festival Théâtre Action en Milieu Scolaire that takes place in Ottawa every year. In their practice, Anne is intrigued by the movements of bodies through space, and the stories those bodies carry. They use theatre as a playground in which to explore and better understand the world we create.
