Born in St. Boniface, Manitoba, Andrina Turenne is a Francophone Métis singer and musician. She has helped establish several musical projects, including the group Chic Gamine, which won a 2009 Juno Award. In addition to the seven albums she has recorded with her own groups, she has been featured as a vocalist and creative partner on more than 40 albums. She has toured on five continents, performed at several major international festivals, and recently appeared as a soloist on the APTN national network for National Indigenous Peoples Day.
Currently, she is working on composing original music for her solo project, as well as composing and designing soundtracks for theatre and film. She released her first single, “When the Smoke Clears,” in February 2020 and is working toward recording her debut album.
