Ada Aguilar is so excited that her NAC debut is presenting you Is God Is and being backstage againafter nearly 3 years of virtual and hybrid theatre/film projects and cancelled productions that never made it to the stage, like Solaris (Canadian Stage) and Blacktop Sky (Obsidian Theatre/ Crow’s Theatre). Notable past credits: virtual stage manager, The Lab, 2021-2022 (Stratford Festival); White Girls in Moccasins (Manidoons/Buddies in Bad Times); Spectators’ Odyssey – o dell’Inferno (DLT/Luminato Festival); The Runner (Human Cargo *2019 Dora Mavor Moore Award winner); School Girls; or, The African Mean Girls Play (Obsidian Theatre/Nightwood Theatre *2019 Dora Mavor Moore Award winner); Jesus Hopped the ‘A’ Train, August: Osage County, 88 Keys; Father Comes Home from the Wars (Parts I, II, III) (Soulpepper); The Wedding Party (Crow’s Theatre/Talk Is Free Theatre).Ada is a proud graduate of Glendon College’s English and Drama Studies with Honours and York University’s Concurrent Education Program.
