“ Our underground bonds ”

A magnetic actor invites us to a shimmering space, a forest of emotions. As if by magic, we hear a child’s inner voice, their desire for both closeness and separation. It’s a chance to share a tender moment together through poetry, gestures and senses. Parents and children alike will leave a little more grown up than they entered.

Step by step, a child learns to exist on their own. This magnificent piece by Elie Marchand gives voice to the maelstrom of sensations experienced during these key moments. On stage, a dazzling performer takes the voice-over and gleefully turns it into riveting physical play. From all over, she finds hundreds of video cassette tapes, which she transforms into costumes, puppets and surreal decor. The work billows with sounds and shimmers, and plunges us into a state of reverie.

Finally, early childhood theatre that isn’t afraid to use its words! The speech is in constant dialogue with the body, substance, the stunning soundtrack, all transmuted through theatrical alchemy and the enchanting presence of the performer.
