The long awaited return of the legendary Bonnie Raitt to the stage of the National Arts Centre with a very special guest: Marc Cohn.

Well into her International Tour for her Grammy Award Winning 19th Album Slipstream, this will be Bonnie's first Ottawa appearance in over 6 years. The album got its start by Bonnie's initial collaborations with longtime admirer, producer Joe Henry.  Though many songs were actually recorded at that time, 4 have been included on Slipstream, with the remainder to be released on later recordings.  The balance of the Album comes from subsequent sessions with her much lauded "touring band" including George Marinelli (guitar), James "Hutch" Hutchinson (Bass), Ricky Fataar (Drums) and longtime friend Mike Finnigan on keyboards.  Songs by great writers like Paul Brady, Joe Henry, Bob Dylan, Gerry Rafferty and Al Anderson (NRBQ) are featured on the album.  Expect to hear a number of these new songs from Slipstream featured along with many favourite songs from Bonnie's catalogue of recordings from the past 40 years.
