The later works of Beethoven are celebrated as the pinnacle of the composer’s immense and adored collection, and contain his deep spiritual soul, full of hope for humanity.  Devoted to that optimistic spirit of mankind, Beethoven’s monumental Symphony No. 9 is a truly inspirational piece culminating in the triumphant choral finale, Ode to Joy.  Bringing the musicians of the NAC Orchestra, Chorus, and vocal soloists under one baton, this extraordinary performance under Maestro Zukerman is not to be missed.
