The spectacular Dakhká Khwáan Dancers set the celebratory tone in an event that showcases some of the many music and drum dancing traditions of Canada’s northern peoples. Leela Gilday, Diyet and Sylvia Cloutier will perform, along with fiddle virtuoso Boyd Benjamin, throat singers Evie Mark and Akinisie Sivuarapik, and the Pimadiziwin Singers.
