Ottawa's Cube Gallery collaborates with Yellowknife’s Gallery on 47th Street for Edge of the ‘Knife, a unique opportunity to experience the essence of Canada’s far North through the eyes of its best-known artists.
This body of work by northerners who live and work in Yellowknife — locally known as “the Knife” — is breathtaking, provocative, raw and poignant. It is a visual feast for those who have been there and for those who have yet to go. Edge of the ‘Knife is a slice of the vibrant contemporary visual art scene in the Northwest Territories.
