Herman Schmerman showcases William Forsythe’s trademark synchronistic style. Performed on pointe, the non-narrative work plays on the extraordinary physicality of ballet partnering and dance itself. 1st Flash, by Jorma Elo, is a highly musical, frenetically-paced piece originally created for Nederlands Dans Theater. Ballet BC's presentation is part of Winterlude, the Capital's winter celebration.
