A striking 3D film experience, Anne Troake’s OutSideIn takes us into the woods to explore our primordial relationship with the natural world. Shot entirely in 3D using high-powered macro lenses, the film is a stereoscopic meditation on the human body and its environment. By getting up close and personal with the dancers’ bodies, Troake explores how our physical boundaries can shift into a profound partnership with nature. The resulting 40-minute film reveals a sublime and disquieting new universe.

Anne Troake is a multidisciplinary artist from Twillingate, Newfoundland, whose extensive practice is rooted in dance and film.
