Canadian Museum of Nature,240 McLeod Street,Ottawa,CanadaA striking 3D film experience, Anne Troake’s OutSideIn takes us into the woods to explore our primordial relationship with the natural world. Shot entirely in 3D using high-powered macro lenses, the film is a stereoscopic meditation on the human body and its environment. By getting up close and personal with the dancers’ bodies, Troake explores how our physical boundaries can shift into a profound partnership with nature. The resulting 40-minute film reveals a sublime and disquieting new universe.
