NAC Orchestra Players’ Association
As a heartfelt thank you to its community, and in tribute to the faithful support of its public, the National Arts Centre Orchestra Players' Association is pleased to announce the annual presentation of its "FanFair" concert and carol sing-along, to take placeon Sunday, 13 December, at 1 pm, in the main foyer of the NAC. Preceding the concert, dynamic young ensembles from OrKidstra will fill the space with their enchanting instrumental harmonies, as concert goers survey the tables of goodies at the ever loyal Friends of the NAC Orchestra's epic bake sale, open from 12 noon.
This year, the players will be joined in this one-hour family-friendly concert by splendid flutist and NACO Bursary winner, Phoebe Robertson, the Choirs of Christ Church Cathedral, and young choristers from OrKidstra KidSingers.
Rumour has it that Santa will stop by for a visit to wish children of all ages a happy holiday!
The NAC Orchestra Players' Association, through the generous gifts of its audience members, assists in directing, at the holiday season, much needed funds to its two favourite local charities: namely the Snowsuit Fund and the Ottawa Food Bank. As tradition, members of the NACO Players’ Association will be on hand to receive monetary donations over the course of the event.
Come early to assure a seat! We are eager to see you all there for an intimate and festive event, celebrating the peace, joy, and wonder of this magical season.
Concert admission is free, and the NAC has graciously offered complimentary parking for this event in its underground lot. Simply receive a paper ticket in the usual manner from the machine upon entering, and present the same to the parking attendant upon exiting the garage, informing him or her of your attendance and participation at FanFair 2015.
