Lleuwen is an artist raised in rural Eryri in North Wales and living in rural Brittany, France. She is heavily influenced by the languages and landscapes of her Celtic homelands.

Lleuwen is primarily a singer and song writer and writes in Welsh and Breton. She speaks four languages.  She is also a composer, recently creating soundscapes and scores for theatre, film and television.

Lleuwen’s music is a dramatic combination of all the sounds she loves. And folk-jazz-pop-rock fusion with classical influences. She is an avid collecter of archive material and passionate about the minority language cultures of Wales and Brittany. She won album of the year twice for France3 TVs Priziou awards as well as Song of the year for Ar Goulou Bev in Liet International in Gijon, Asturias.
