The musicians of Canada’s National Arts Centre Orchestra offered a beautiful concert in Bristol’s Colston Hall, featuring Maestro Pinchas Zukerman in a performance of Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 and stellar music by Vaughan Williams, Elgar, Beethoven, and Canadian composer John Estacio.

The NAC was the lead commissioner of a powerful tribute to the soldiers of the First World War called The Song of the Poets by Canadian composer Abigail Richardson that was featured in pre-concert choral performances in most tour cities.

NAC Orchestra musicians also performed in a chamber music recital for World War II servicemen and women in partnership with St. Monica’s Trust.
