A beautiful night of music awaits you if you are inside the Grand Theatre in Tianjin October 13th!  You’ll be hearing Canada’s NAC Orchestra, under the baton of the renowned conductor and soloist Pinchas Zukerman, in a dazzling concert designed to show you the very best in artistic excellence that Canada has to offer!

The more than 70 classically-trained musicians of the NAC Orchestra are delighted to be performing onstage with their mentor and maestro, Pinchas Zukerman. He will guide the Orchestra through Brahms’s Symphony No. 2, and Canadian composer John Estacio’s Brio: Toccata and Fantasy for Orchestra.  Then, you’ll have the exquisite experience of the magic that happens onstage when the conductor and Music Director Pinchas Zukerman, who has not only guided and built up Canada’s national Orchestra for the past 16 years but is also an international superstar soloist, puts down his conductor’s baton and picks up his violin to play Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1, a work for which he received a rave review from The New York Times this year. This is a rare and wonderful moment for the musicians in the Orchestra, who get to play alongside their leader, and for the audience to witness. See it yourself at the Grand Theatre in Tianjin!

This performance is just one of the many live performances and educational visits on the NAC Orchestra’s China Tour, from October 4 to 21, 2013.
