Announces auditions for the following vacancy:

PRINCIPAL BASS

effective the 2023-2024 Season or earliest availability

International auditions will be held in Ottawa, April 30, May 1 & 2, 2023

Season: 46 weeks including concerts, broadcasts, opera, ballet, recordings, tours and 5 weeks paid vacation

Salary: Minimum scale, 2022-2023: $2,048 per week (salary for this position to be negotiated)

The members of the National Arts Centre Orchestra are Canadian members of the American Federation of Musicians.

The National Arts Centre Orchestra is a proud partner orchestra of the National Alliance for Audition Support (NAAS).

Two contrasting movements from any BACH Cello Suite

Mvt I of a standard concerto of your choice

Please bring the piano part since an accompanist will be provided.
