Southwestern Ontario native Bry Webb was singer and guitarist with The Constantines for 11 years. In 2010 Bry stopped touring with The Cons to focus on his family. He and his wife, contemporary dancer Katie Ewald, relocated from Montreal to his former home of Guelph and celebrated the arrival of their son Asa in early 2011.

It was later that same year that Bry was invited to guest on Feist's album Metals and to perform as the opening act on the Canadian leg of her 2011 tour. The tour was synchronous with the release of Bry's first solo record, the Polaris long-listed Provider. Standing in stark contrast to the bombast of The Constantines, the hushed, acoustic record received praise for it s honest and mature look at aging and fatherhood.

On May 20th 2014 Bry released his second solo record Free Will. Included on the record are his 2009 Genie nominated song "Big Smoke" and his recent This American Life commissioned track "Someplace I'm Supposed To Be". Expanding on the vision of Provider, the album is a reflection on responsibility, love, work, desire, art and, above all, will.
