Internet, travel, industry and environment: Canada’s Arctic is changing at an unprecedented pace. How do these changes impact the life and culture of Inuit, who have lived in the Arctic for more than one thousand years?

Join Norman Vorano, Curator of Contemporary Inuit Art at the Canadian Museum of Civilization, for a guided tour of the First Peoples Hall, where he will discuss the ways Inuit artists are responding to some of the pressures, predicaments and opportunities  of the modern world through their innovative new art.

Presented in English.
