Since 1937, the Wildcat Café has been a beloved meeting place where the extraordinary community of Yellowknife can share its unique frontier spirit. The iconic log cabin restaurant is the perfect setting to hear funny, heart-warming and engaging reflections on the unique characters and stories of the North: tales of how gold was struck, how hearts were broken, how families were torn apart, and how the harsh environment of the North creates freedom and warmth from the unlikeliest of contacts.

A Taste of the Wildcat takes you right into the heart of the North in a replica of the Wildcat Café at the Canadian Museum of Civilization.
