Les Éditions David, in partnership with Zones Théâtrales, invites you to the launch of Project Earth.
We live in an age that shows, in countless signs, an urgent and compelling need to reconnect humans to their alma mater, Earth. This need is here expressed by various poetic voices from across Canada.
At the instigation of Michel Thérien and Nelson Charest, co-directors of this ambitious and unifying project, these poets want to sound the alarm. From East to West, from Georgette LeBlanc to Lise Gaboury-Diallo, including Paul Bossé, Tina Charlebois, Maya Cousineau Mollen, Jean Marc Dalpé, Hélène Dorion, Daniel Lavoie, Amber O'Reilly Zachary Richard, Jonathan Roy, Chloé Sainte -Marie and several others, they take up their pen and call out to us.
Simply, directly, sometimes violently, poets remind us that the Earth is not nothing. Earth is everything.
Readings, drinks and bites will be on the menu of this event open to all.
This project is made possible thanks to the support of the Ontario Arts Council and the Francophonie Games Fund.
