In today’s NACO Lunch Break, Stephanie Morin, second flute, performs Sourmagic by American composer and flutist Alice Jones.

After the pandemic began last year, Alice Jones decided to compose a series of four pieces in a project called #TinyEfforts2020, which she made available for anyone to play, on any instrument they like. This was a way for her to stay in touch with her musical community, support people around her, and elevate BIPOC artists. The piece Stephanie is performing, Sourmagic, is taken from the second installment, #TinyEfforts2021.
