AIRsessions is back for a third season!
SING, WRITE, RAP, WHATEVER!
AIRsessions is a music workshop series for youth aged 13 to 25, curated by Manitoba Singer-Songwriter Ila Barker.
Each session is led by Ila and a guest artist where both participants and artists are invited to share their own music, stories, and music biz tips in a fun and safe creative forum.
The Season three launch event will be streamed on Facebook Live, free for all to celebrate this new season!
Artist-in-residence Ila Barker will be joined by Anishinaabe / Nehiyaw rapper Drezus to share some music and introduce AIRSessions third season.
Future episodes of the series will be hosted on a Zoom and will require registration.
This series is presented as part of the NAC Music Alive Program: Manitoba, in partnership with the sākihiwē festival, Music for Life, Indigenous Music Development Program at Manitoba Music and Canada Council for the arts.
This live performance adheres to the health and safety guidelines of the region in which it was recorded.
