Through a series of four workshops, Les Blettes (Isabelle Bartkowiak and Julie Malenfant) invite you to discover the art of puppetry. An invitation to free your scissors, your cardboard and your imagination from confinement! Come craft with us!

Workshop 1 – Shadow puppet theatre

Based on Jean de La Fontaine’s Fable of the Rat and the Lion, build your own shadow puppet theatre at home.

+ Presentation of an excerpt from a show!

Materials:

• Scissors
• Stiff cardboard
• Pencil
• A light source: flashlight, lamp, etc.
• White paper or sheet 

Optional: 

• Popsicle stick or similar rigid rod
• Paper fastener or similar moveable rod
• Glue gun [and your parent!] or adhesive tape
• Acetate
