Shay Lia is a Djiboutian-French musician based in Montreal. She first burst onto the scene as a singer-songwriter on the critically acclaimed single “Leave Me Alone” found on Kaytranada’s first album.This enigmatic songstress’ invites listeners into a universe full of sensuality, rhythm and mystery. Involved in every aspect of her music, Shay unfolds a unique contemporary R&B performance, dancing on stage with fervor reminiscent of a young Janet Jackson.

Her solo debut EP Dangerous was longlisted for the 2019 Polaris Music Prize.
