Alanna Sterling’s powerful, unduplicatable voice is an unlikely discovery in small-town Ottawa. This rainbow haired character delivers the full spectrum of performance. Her passion for music pushed her to teach herself over three dozen different musical instruments, including cello, violin, trumpet, saxophone, and drums. Expect to hear her voice cartwheel up and down her limitless vocal range from operatic siren to rapsy rocker, while she hops across different instruments and genres.

Alanna wields music as a potent tool to transform those struggles into something beautiful. Her ultimate goal as a musician is to provide her listeners with a voice they can resonate with, helping them to overcome their own personal battles. Her upcoming album, Mind/Matter, tells the story and triumph of her battles with mental illness, and is scheduled to be released in Spring 2020.
