Harea Band is a collective of Canadian musicians that deliver a refreshing and unique blend of pop, soul, funk, and r&b music. The group is led by singer/songwriter Alex Harea who comes from a family of professional musicians and music entrepreneurs. His experience playing a multitude of different instruments throughout his life as well as being immersed in music at home everyday has led him to become a creative writer and impressive performer. The team around him each bring their own unique contribution to the music. The group met studying music at Carleton University where they all studied a variety of styles from pop and jazz to classical and free improvisation and you can hear splashes off all these different styles in their performances. With musical influences from Prince, Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, and Jamiroquai, there is a 100% chance that this group will get you out of your seat and get you moving!
