Lisa Moore is the acclaimed author of February which won CBC's Canada Reads competition and was long-listed for the Man Booker Prize. Her book Alligator was a finalist for the Scotiabank Giller Prize and won the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize (Canada and the Caribbean). Her story collection Open was a finalist for the Scotiabank Giller Prize and a national bestseller.

Eva Crocker’s stories have been published in Riddle Fence, The Overcast, and The Telegram’s Cuffer Anthology. Barrelling Forward was shortlisted for the 2015 NLCU Fresh Fish Award for Emerging Writers. Crocker recently completed a Master’s Degree in English Literature at Memorial University. She is Lisa Moore’s daughter.

Edward Riche is widely known for his biting comedy and wit. His novel Rare Birds was made into a feature film for which Riche wrote the screenplay, and his novel The Nine Planets won both the Winterset and Thomas Raddell awards for fiction. His 2011 novel Easy to Like was long-listed for the IMPAC Prize, and his latest book, Today I Learned It Was You, was published in 2016.
