One of western Canada’s jazz icons, Al Muirhead is the elder statesman of Jazz trumpet in Alberta.  Al has come into prominence with the release of his solo debut album: It’s About Time (2014).  His sophomore album Oop! (2016) quickly followed, and was nominated for a JUNO.  His latest release is the highly garnered Northern Adventures – The Canada Sessions Vol. 1 (2017).  Accompanying Al is Canadian bassist and producer Kodi Hutchinson and Ottawa pianist Brian Browne. Fellow Canadian jazz giant, Guido Basso shares the stage with Al.  This intimate performance among these jazz statesmen will offer moments of magic and musical insight rarely found on tour.
