Long one of the Canadian scene’s most revered songwriters, across almost 25 years, working under his own name and the past alias Snailhouse, Michael Feuerstack has built an underground canon of crooked and beautiful songs. A little Rilke and a little Bazooka Joe, these easygoing tunes are like fields full of hedge-mazes – teeming with riddles, reveries and hiding places.

Gianna Lauren is a project of atmosphere, voice and warm voices. Lush arrangements and measured vocals create a haunting ambience. One of Canada’s most thought-provoking songwriters, she recently released her 4th and most ambitious album to date, Moving Parts, an arresting collection of moody temperament and songs about human troubles.

Tim Crabtree's haunting voice sits at the centre of Paper Beat Scissors' sound with an honesty and rawness that skirts discomfort. The relocated-Brit began the project following a move to Canada's East Coast and soon caught the attention of his adoptive home. Instrumentally, the palettes shift from hypnotic loops through full brass arrangements and screaming lap steel to stripped-back acoustic guitar and layered vocals.

Toronto/LA based, composer/producer Dan Goldman has amassed a unique and varied body of work that has spanned 15 years. Most recently, Goldman collaborated with astronaut Chris Hadfield on orchestral arrangements for a record largely recorded in orbit. Most consistently, though, Dan has been the other half of Snowblink, who has released three sweetly ethereal records.

Forward Music Group is an Atlantic Canadian artist management team and record label that works with musicians to create sustainability through composition and performance with a strong focus on aesthetics, presentation, and a grassroots approach to promotion.
