Join Dr. Eleanor Stubley for Louis Riel: Performing the Land – a pre-show discussion of the opera’s compelling history, evolution, music, and revival 50 years after its creation and 150 years after the Confederation of Canada. Dr. Stubley is a critically acclaimed conductor, author, and scholar who has written extensively on music by Canadian composers, including the 2005 production of Louis Riel at Montreal’s McGill University.
