Acadian singer-songwriter Caroline Savoie seduces her audiences with a disarming naturalness that has earned her accolades across Canada and throughout Europe. Inspired by everyday life and conveyed by the unique timbre of her warm and soulful voice, her songs are sincere, relevant, and moving – sometimes delicate, sometimes powerful.

Recently, Caroline was awarded 2 Trille Or prizes as well as a nomination for the prestigious Félix Leclerc Prize. In 2015, Caroline took home top honours at the prestigious Festival international de la chanson de Granby as well as the coveted SOCAN Best Song Award for her song Y'en aura. Her 2016 self-titled album was produced by 10-time GRAMMY winner Jay Newland.

This concert is part of Canada Scene’s free Scene@6 series. Running every evening at 6:00 from July 2 to 23, the series showcases this country’s top folk, roots, world, and jazz artists in the NAC’s new Atrium.
