"A human being is an ingenious assembly of portable plumbing."

– Christopher Morley

Disbarred from practising law and kicked out of his parents' home, Dave, a strapping but rough-hewn and quarrelsome young man, leaves the city to go work for his uncle Aldo's plumbing company in a remote village. He becomes friends with two of his uncle's employees, Pete and Alexis, but seeks something else, a task or perhaps a quest. But just what exactly? And how will he know if he has succeeded?

Freely inspired by the work of Alexandre Dumas, the artists behind Mouving and Bouffe (featured at Zones Théâtrales in 2011 and 2013) will be presenting an unconventional piece that takes the form of raw, surprising poetry. The favourite weapon is the actor's body, which here conveys lightness and tragedy in equal measure in a piece that blends the epic with the banal, scathing humour with lyricism. Borrowing from the theatre of objects and rock opera, as well as clowning and epic tales, Les Trois Mousquetaires Plomberie is a flight at full tilt into the twists and turns of the imagination.
