The play may be used in many ways to meet Ontario school curriculum requirements. Suggestions and teacher prompts:
Grade 11: Social Sciences and the Humanities Curriculum
World Religions
- To discuss religious beliefs, discover what others believe, and learn to appreciate individual heritages;
- To learn about the connections between religion and the development of civilizations; to consider the influence of religion on contemporary society;
- To facilitate examination of the connection between human experience and sacred writings;
- To consider the influence different gender-role expectations have had on the development of religion;
- To identify the function of religion in the human experience.

Grades 6-12 English Curriculum
Writing
- To write for different purposes. See the Activities section for several writing ideas.
Teacher Prompt: Do you think that the novels that spoof classics (such as Pride and Prejudice and Zombies) are a good way to introduce people to literature?
Understanding Form and Style
- To recognize a variety of text forms and features, specifically alliteration and rhyming verse.

- To examine mystery plays and creation stories from different cultures.
