Stage illuminator
She sees the stage as a place for speaking out, an act of light and resistance to combat the darkness of our time. Since graduating from the Conservatoire de Québec in 2002, Véronique Côté has devoted herself body and soul to lighting up the stage with her writing and directing (Flots, tout ce qui brille voit in 2012; Attentat in 2014). As an actress, she has appeared in many stage productions, including Wajdi Mouawad’s Forêts, which she has performed more than 200 times! A keen lover of poetry, she is also a columnist for Le Devoir and ICI Radio-Canada Première.
