Stephan Laks

Based in Berlin, Stephan Laks currently works with a range of organizations, in different roles. From 2010 to 2018, he was a Rehearsal Director with the GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, as well as shorter periods with the Royal Swedish Ballet and Sasha Waltz & Guests. From 2018 to 2020, he has worked as Rehearsal Director with the Staatsballett Berlin. His most notable ongoing artistic associations include Alan Lucien Øyen / winter guests, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Springboard Dance Montreal, Emily Molnar, and Stijn Celis. From 2016 to 2018 he was the Program Director of the Creative Gesture Program at the Banff Centre.
