Based in Regina, Saskatchewan, September holds a BMusEd and a Master’s degree from the University of Regina, and is currently finishing her PhD at the University of Toronto. Her eclectic music presentations combine saxophone, song, stories, and body percussion in a variety of styles from jazz to classical to folk music.

She is also an accomplished music theorist, presenting her research at conferences both nationally and internationally and having taught at various academic institutions including the University of Toronto, Luther College in Regina, Parkland College in Yorkton, and Briercrest College in Caronport.
