Micah Woods

Micah Woods is an Actor of Trinidadian decent who hopes to influence the black theatre/television community through a body of work that is meant to inspire audience members while bringing awareness to the presence of colourism within the industry. Micah is a graduate of both the York University Acting Conservatory 2018 and the 2021 class of the Stratford festival Birmingham Conservatory. Through these programs he has been apple to tackle roles including, but not limited to, Dido in Dido, Queen of Carthage directed by Peter Hinton (York University), Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream directed by Peter Pasyk (Stratford Festival) and Danny in Hamlet 911 directed by Alisa Palmer (Stratford Festival). He has tackled various styles of performance since his performing days in his hometown of Ajax, Ontario, and is excited to be a part of this years 2023 remounted production of Is God Is by Aleshea Harris. Micah is currently looking forward to his NAC debut and is preparing for his 4th season at the Stratford Festival of Canada.
