Maximilian Mauricio-Cardilli is a Montreal born bass player. Having studied with Brian Robinson, he holds a bachelor's degree in performance from McGill University ('15), where he was awarded the Lloyd Carr Harris String Scholarship.  In March 2016, he became the Assistant-Principal Double Bass for L'Orchestre Symphonique de Drummondville, under Maestro Julien Proulx. Maximilian has also been performing with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra for the 2016-2017 season while also enjoying a diversified freelance career. During summers spent at the National Youth Orchestra Canada, he has been mentored by Canadian double bass giants like Ed Tait and Jeremy McCoy.
